Ingredients:

• Jiāng bàn xià (姜半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma cum Zingibere Praeparatum, ginger[-processed] pinellia [rhizome]) 9g
• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 9g
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 9g
• Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 240g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 9g
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 240g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 9g
• Rén shēn (人参 Ginseng Radix, ginseng) 9g
• Méng shí (礞石 Chloriti seu Micae Lapis, chlorite/mica [schist]) (calcined with red niter) 30 gr
• Chén xiāng (沉香 Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, aquilaria [wood]) 15g.; Zhú lì (竹沥 Bambusae Succus, bamboo sap)
• Shēng jiāng zhī (生姜汁 Zingiberis Rhizomatis Succus, ginger juice)

Action: Clears heat and expels phlegm.

Indication: 1) Cough with thick phlegm, constipation, and thick slimy yellow tongue fur. 2) Phlegm and heat brewing and binding with clouded spirit, mania and withdrawal or epilepsy.

Method: Mix with 1 large bowl of bamboo sap and 3 spoons of ginger juice, and sun-dry. Repeat the processess 5 or 6 times. Form into bean-size pills with bamboo sap and ginger juice.

Dosage: 100 pills at a time.
