Source: Shāng Hán Lùn 伤寒论

Ingredients:

• Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit]) 2g
• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 2g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 1g

Action: Clears heat and drains fire.

Indication: Jaundice with heat effusion and reddish urine.

Method: Decoct with water.
