Source: Wēn Bìng Tiáo Biàn 温病条辨

Ingredients:

• Shā shēn (沙参 Adenophorae seu Glehniae Radix, adenophora/glehnia [root]) 9g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 15g
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 15g
• Yù zhú (玉竹 Polygonati Odorati Rhizoma, Solomon's seal [root]) 4.5g
• Bīng táng (冰糖 Saccharon Crystallinum, rock candy) 3g

Action: Nourishes yīn and boosts the stomach.

Indication: Yáng brightness warm disease after precipitation with heat vexation and thirst, dry mouth, scant tongue fur, and pulse that is not rapid.
