Stomach-Boosting Decoction
益胃汤 〔益胃湯〕 yì wèi tāng

Ingredients
- Shā shēn (沙参 Adenophorae seu Glehniae Radix, adenophora/glehnia [root]) 9g
- Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 15g
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 15g
- Yù zhú (玉竹 Polygonati Odorati Rhizoma, Solomon’s seal [root]) 4.5g
- Bīng táng (冰糖 Saccharon Crystallinum, rock candy) 3g
Actions: Nourishes yīn and boosts the stomach.
Indications: Yáng brightness warm disease after precipitation with heat vexation and thirst, dry mouth, scant tongue fur, and pulse that is not rapid.
