Tremor-Stabilizing Pill
定振丸 〔定振丸〕dìng zhèn wán

Ingredients:
- Tiān má (天麻 Gastrodiae Rhizoma, gastrodia [root]) 30g
- Qín jiāo (秦艽 Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, large gentian [root]) 30g
- Quán xiē (全蝎 Scorpio , scorpion) 30g
- Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum) 30g
- Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root]) 60g
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 60g
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 60g
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 60g
- Sháo yào (芍药 Paeoniae Radix, peony [root]) 60g
- Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia)
- Jīng jiè (荆芥 Schizonepetae Herba, schizonepeta) 21g
- Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 45g
- Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 45g
- Wēi líng xiān (威灵仙 Clematidis Radix, clematis [root]) 615g
Action: Boosts qì and nourishes the blood; dispels wind and stabilizes shaking.
Indication: Shanking in old people due to dual vacuity of qì and blood and assailing wind qì; blood vacuity engendering wind.

Method: Grind to a powder, mix with wine and flour, and form into pills the size of firmiana seeds.
Dosage: 70–80 pills at a time, taken with water or wine.
