Source: Jīn Guì Yào Lüè 金匮要略

Ingredients:

• Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb)
• Táo rén (桃仁 Persicae Semen, peach kernel)
• Dì biē chóng (地鳖虫 Eupolyphaga seu Steleophaga , ground beetle)

Action: Dispels stasis and frees menstruation.

Indication: (a) Postpartum abdominal pain and blood dryness; (b) absence of menses due to obstruction by static blood.
