Ingredients

• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 150g
• Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark) 90g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 120g
• Zǐ sū yè (紫苏叶 Perillae Folium, perilla leaf) 60g
• Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger)
• Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube)

Actions: Rectifies qì and resolves depression; downbears counterflow and transforms phlegm.

Indications: As forbanxiahoupotang. Can also be used for dampness and phlegm obstructing each other, causing oppression in the chest, and rapid breathing, as well as for stomach pain, nausea and vomiting. Tongue fur: White and slimy.

Method: Grind to a rough powder. Take 12 gr at a time decocted with 7 slices of ginger and a jujube.

Notes: This is a variant of Bàn xià hòu pò tāng (半夏厚朴汤 Pinellia and Officinal Magnolia Bark Decoction). jujubeweight/ginger???
