Four-Seven Decoction

Ingredients:
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 150g
- Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark) 90g
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 120g
- Zǐ sū yè (紫苏叶 Perillae Folium, perilla leaf) 60g
- Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger)
- Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube)
Action: Rectifies qì and resolves depression; downbears counterflow and transforms phlegm.

Method: Grind to a rough powder. Take 12 gr at a time decocted with 7 slices of ginger and a jujube.
Notes: This is a variant of Bàn xià hòu pò tāng (半夏厚朴汤 Pinellia and Officinal Magnolia Bark Decoction).
