Source: Jīn Guì Yào Lüè 金匮要略

Ingredients:

• Guā lóu (栝蒌 Trichosanthis Fructus, trichosanthes [fruit]) 12g
• Xiè bái (薤白 Allii Macrostemonis Bulbus, long-stamen onion [bulb]) 9g
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 9g
• Bái jiǔ (白酒 Granorum Vinum/Spiritus Incolor%#%, white liquor) 70 cc

Action: Frees yáng and disperses binds: Dispels phlegm and precipitates qì.

Indication: As for gualouxiebaibaijiutang, but with stronger bind-dispersing and a phlegm-transforming action.

Method: Decoct with water.
