Bupleurum Liver-Coursing Powder
柴胡疏肝散 〔柴胡疏肝散〕chái hú shū gān sǎn

Ingredients:
- Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 10g
- Bái sháo (白芍 Paeoniae Radix Alba, white peony [root]) 15g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 6g
- Zhǐ ké (qiào) (枳壳 Aurantii Fructus, bitter orange) 10g
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 10g
- Xiāng fù (香附 Cyperi Rhizoma, cyperus [rhizome]) 10g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 10g
Action: Courses the liver and resolves depression; quickens the blood and relieves pain.
