Ten-Ingredient Toxin-Vanquishing Decoction
十味败毒汤 〔十味敗毒湯〕 shí wèi bài dú tāng

Ingredients
- Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 2–3g
- Yīng pí (樱皮 Pruni Cortex, Japanese cherry bark) 2–3g
- Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root]) 2–3g
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 2–3g
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 2–4g
- Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia) 1.5–3g
- Dú huó (独活 Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, pubescent angelica) 1.5–3g
- Shēng gān cǎo (生甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix Cruda, raw licorice [root]) 1.4g
- Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger) 1–3g
- Jīng jiè (荆芥 Schizonepetae Herba, schizonepeta) 1–1.5g
- Lián qiào (连翘 Forsythiae Fructus, forsythia [fruit]) 2–3 gr (optional)
Indications: Welling-abscess (yōng), boils, clove sores, lymphadenitis, mastitis, dermatitis, urticaria, eczema, and otitis media.
Method: Decoct with water.
