Chinese Angelica Decoction
当归汤 〔當歸湯〕 dāng guī tāng

Ingredients
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 4–5g
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 4–5g
- Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root]) 3–4g
- Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark) 2.5–3g
- Guì zhī (桂枝 Cinnamomi Ramulus, cinnamon twig) 2.5–3g
- Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 2.5–3g
- Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 1.5g
- Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 1.5g
- Shān jiāo (山椒 Zanthoxyli Piperiti Fructus, peppery zanthoxylum) 1.5
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 1g
Indications: Cold in the back with abdominal fullness or pain.
Method: Decoct with water.
