Ingredients

• Lǐ yú dǎn (鲤鱼胆 Carpionis Vesica Fellea, carp’s gallbladder) 7 pieces
• Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 15g
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 15g

Indications: Red sore eyes. fy see jianming 672 方名:鱼胆点眼膏

Method: Grind the coptis and rhubarb and add to the bile taken from the 7 fresh gallbladders. Pour into jar and steam on rice. When the rice is cooked remove to cool. If dry, add water to make a paste.

Dosage: Apply a little to cotton, which is then placed on the eyelid.
