Ingredients

• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 30g
• Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root]) 30g
• Tiān dōng (天冬 Asparagi Radix, asparagus [root]) 30g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 30g
• Shā shēn (沙参 Adenophorae seu Glehniae Radix, adenophora/glehnia [root]) 30g
• Bǎi bù (百部 Stemonae Radix, stemona [root]) 30g
• Chuān bèi mǔ (川贝母 Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus, Sìchuān fritillaria [bulb]) 30g
• Shān yào (山药 Dioscoreae Rhizoma, dioscorea [root]) 30g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 15g
• Ē jiāo (阿胶 Asini Corii Colla, ass hide glue) 30g
• Jǐng tiān sān qī gēn (景天三七根 Sedi Aizoon Radix, alpine stonecrop root) 15g
• Tǎ gān (獭肝 Lutrae Iecur, otter’s liver) 15g
• Bái jú huā (白菊花 Chrysanthemi Flos Albus%#%, white chrysanthemum [flower]) 60g
• Sāng yè (桑叶 Mori Folium, mulberry leaf) 6og

Actions: Supplements the lung and nourishes yīn.

Indications: Lung yīn vacuity with persistent cough, and phlegm containing blood, emaciation, tidal heat effusion, vexing heat in the five hearts (palms, soles and chest), dry mouth and throat, fullness in the chest, poor appetite, shortness of breath, difficult defecation, and scant urine. Tongue: Red without liquid. Pulse: Fine and rapid.
