Ingredients:

• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix–fried) 18g
• Dì huáng (地黄 Rehmanniae Radix, rehmannia [root]) 18g
• ē jiāo (阿胶 Asini Corii Colla, ass hide glue) 9g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 15g
• Shēng bái sháo (生白芍 Paeoniae Radix Alba Cruda, raw white peony [root]) 6–9g
• Má rén (麻仁 Cannabis Fructus, cannabis fruit) 9g

Action: Enriches yīn and nourishes the blood; restores the pulse.

Indication: Damage to yīn and blood by evil heat, or enduring heat effusion and smooth red tongue with scant fur, dry mouth and lips, vexation and agitation, and heart palpitation. Pulse: Skipping.
