Ingredients
- Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root])
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root])
- Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark])
- Rǔ xiāng (乳香 Olibanum , frankincense)
- Mò yào (没药 Myrrha , myrrh)
Indications: Swelling associated with massive head scourge. Can be used in conjunction with universal salvation toxin-dispersing beverage (pǔ jì xiāo dú yǐn).
Method: Apply topically.
Rationale: Huáng lián, Huáng qín, and Huáng bǎi are the three yellows. They clears heat, downbear fire, and resolve toxin. Rǔ xiāng and Mò yào are the two aromatics. They are mobile aromatic agents that quicken the blood and dispel stasis, disperse swelling and relieve pain.
