Source: Wài Kē Zhèng Zōng 外科正宗

Ingredients

• Má yóu (麻油 Sesami Oleum, sesame oil) 120g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 15g
• Zǐ cǎo (紫草 Arnebiae/Lithospermi Radix, arnebia/lithospermum) 3g
• Fēng là (蜂蜡 Cera Flava , bee’s wax) 15g

Indications: Bald scalp sores, itchy white patches, and hair loss.

Method: Cook the Chinese angelica and arnebia/lithospermum in the oil until the are crisp all the way through and strain off the dregs. Continue heating and then add the wax and allow to cool.
