Ingredients:

• Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 18g
• Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root]) 9g
• Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 4.5g
• Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root]) 4.5g
• Shēng má (升麻 Cimicifugae Rhizoma, cimicifuga [root]) 3g

Action: Boost qì and raises falls.

Indication: Fall of great qì in the chest, characterized by shortness of breath XX and a sunken slow pulse; often caused by persistent diarrhea.
