Officinal Magnolia Bark Seven Agents Decoction
厚朴七物汤 〔厚朴七物湯〕hòu pò qī wù tāng

Ingredients:
- Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark) 24g
- Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 9g
- Zhǐ shí (枳实 Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, unripe bitter orange) 9g
- Guì zhī (桂枝 Cinnamomi Ramulus, cinnamon twig) 6g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 9g
- Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger) 15g
- Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube) 12 pieces
Action: Resolves the flesh and effuses the exterior, drains interior repletion.
Indication: Abdominal fullness with heat effusion that has lasted for ten days, and a rapid floating pulse.
