Ingredients

• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 30g
• Qiān dān (铅丹 Minium , minium) 90g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 6g
• Shè xiāng (麝香 Moschus , musk) 1.5g
• Rǔ xiāng (乳香 Olibanum , frankincense) 1.5g
• Qīng fěn (轻粉 Calomelas , calomel) 3g
• Náo shā (硇砂 Sal Ammoniacum , sal ammoniac) 3g
• Bái dīng xiāng (白丁香 Passeris Faeces, sparrow’s droppings) 3g
• Bīng piàn (冰片 Borneolum , borneol) 1 pinch
• Hǎi piāo xiāo (海螵蛸 Sepiae Endoconcha, cuttlefish bone) 3g
• Lú gān shí (炉甘石 Calamina , calamine) 180g

Indications: Canthus excescence (pterygium). Topical application of this formula may be combined with oral consumption of zhibaidihuangwan plus chishao and honghua.

Method: Make into a paste with honey. Apply to the affected area melted in hot water.
