Source: Yī Fāng Jí Jiě 医方集解

Ingredients:

• Rén shēn (人参 Ginseng Radix, ginseng) 3g
• Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 3g
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 3g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3g
• Fù zǐ (附子 Aconiti Radix Lateralis Praeparata, aconite [accessory root]) 1g

Action: Returns yáng and stems counterflow; greatly supplements original qì; disperses cold and relieves pain.

Indication: Cold strike with abdominal pain, and hypertonicity of the limbs.

Method: Decoct with water.
