Source: Zhèng Zhì Zhǔn Shéng 证治准绳

Ingredients:

• Rén shēn (人参 Ginseng Radix, ginseng)
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root])
• Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger)
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried)
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome])
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria)

Action: Warms the center and transforms phlegm.

Indication: Spleen-stomach yáng vacuity with phlegm-rheum characterized by coughing up of copious phlegm and sometimes by vomiting of clear water.

Category: Interior-warming formulas / Center-warming cold-dispersing formula

Method: Grind equal proportions of the agents to a powder and form into pills.
