Ingredients

• Huá shí (滑石 Talcum , talcum) 30g
• Shí gāo (石膏 Gypsum Fibrosum, gypsum) 20g
• Hán shuǐ shí (寒水石 Gypsum seu Calcitum , glauberite) 20g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 10g
• Zé xiè (泽泻 Alismatis Rhizoma, alisma [tuber]) 10g
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 10g
• Tǔ fú líng (土茯苓 Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma, smooth greenbrier [root]) 10g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 6g
• Ròu guì (肉桂 Cinnamomi Cortex, cinnamon bark) 3g

Actions: Clears summerheat and discharges heat; promotes qì transformation and disinhibits dampness.

Indications: Summerheat stroke and contraction of dampness with headache, heat effusion, sweating, grimy facial complexion, vexation and thirst, and short voidings of reddish urine. Tongue: Red with glossy white fur. Pulse: Slippery and rapid.
