Cinnamon and Poria Sweet Dew Beverage
桂苓甘露饮 〔桂苓甘露飲〕guì líng gān lù yǐn

Ingredients:
- Huá shí (滑石 Talcum , talcum) 30g
- Shí gāo (石膏 Gypsum Fibrosum, gypsum) 20g
- Hán shuǐ shí (寒水石 Gypsum seu Calcitum , glauberite) 20g
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 10g
- Zé xiè (泽泻 Alismatis Rhizoma, alisma [tuber]) 10g
- Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 10g
- Zhū líng (猪苓 Polyporus , polyporus) 10g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 6g
- Ròu guì (肉桂 Cinnamomi Cortex, cinnamon bark) 3g
Action: Clears summerheat and discharges heat; promotes
Indication: Summerheat stroke and contraction of dampness with headache, heat effusion, sweating, grimy facial complexion, vexation and thirst, and short voidings of reddish urine. Tongue: Red with glossy white fur. Pulse: Slippery and rapid.
