Source: Hé Jiān Liù Shū 河间六书

Ingredients:

• Huá shí (滑石 Talcum , talcum) 180g
• Shēng gān cǎo (生甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix Cruda, raw licorice [root]) 30g
• Chén shā (辰砂 Cinnabaris , cinnabar) 9g

Action: Clears summerheat and disinhibits dampness; settles the heart and quiets the spirit.

Indication: Contraction of summerheat-damp with heart vexation.

Category: Summerheat-dispelling formulas / Summerheat-dispelling dampness-disinhibiting formulas

Method: Grind to a powder.

Dosage: 9g at a time, mixed with a decoction of juncus (dēng xīn cǎo).

Notes: This is a variant of Liù yī sǎn (六一散 Six-to-One Powder).
