Cold enveloping fire

寒包火 〔寒包火〕hán bāo huǒ

Also cold enveloping heat. A pattern of external cold due to contraction of wind-cold with accumulated internal heat. The external cold is understood to envelope the depressed internal heat. Cold enveloping fire presents as a wind-cold exterior pattern with cough, panting, loss of voice, red sore swollen eyes, or sore swollen gums.
