Yáng epilepsy
阳痫 〔陽癇〕 yáng xián
Epilepsy forming a yáng pattern; usually attributed to phlegm heat settling in the heart and stomach, and characterized by convulsions, shrieking, generalized heat, floating pulse, upward staring eyes, agitated tongue, and shaking head.
Medicinal therapy: It is treated mainly with cold medicinals.
Acumoxatherapy: Use the general points given for episodes under epilepsy, and further needle GV-14 (Great Hammer, 大椎 dà zhuī), ST-44 (Inner Court, 内庭 nèi tíng), and ST-45 (Severe Mouth, 厉兑 lì duì). Prick Twelve Well Points (
