Worm drum

虫鼓 〔蟲鼓〕chóng gǔ

Also worm drum distension; worm distension. Distension due to toxin binding in the stomach and intestines. Worm drum is distension associated with pain and accompanied by mild swelling of the four limbs, and ability to eat. There is often a strange craving to eat tea leaves, salt, and earth. There are red speckles or lines on the face as if eroded by worms.
