Wheezing

哮 〔哮〕 xiāo

Hasty rapid breathing with phlegm rale in the throat. Indispensable Medical Reading (医宗必读 yī zōng bì dú) states Wheezing is similar to pantingbut does not have as much opening of the mouth and expelling of airand is characterized by a wheezy sound.
