Triple-yīn malaria
三阴疟 〔三陰瘧〕sān yīn nüè
1. Quartan malaria. Malaria attributed to internal vacuity of original qì and insecurity of defense qì with the malarial evil lying latent in the three yīn channels; hence the name. Treat mainly by supporting right.
2. Quartan malaria disease occurring before the winter solstice after exposure to summerheat.
