Treatment
治疗学 〔治療學〕zhì liáo xué
Any measure serving or designed to eliminate or alleviate sickness. Treatment in Chinese medicine is largely based on fundamental principles common to any treatment modality. Acumoxatherapy and medicinal therapy have their own specific methods (which also broadly apply to the related therapies listed below), while dietary therapy is an extension of medicinal therapy that takes account of the medicinal value of foodstuffs.
