Lozenge

锭 〔錠〕dìng

Also lozenge preparation. A solid preparation made by blending finely ground medicinals with flour paste and forming them into spindle shapes, cones, or oblongs. If taken orally, lozenges are crushed and swallowed with water. If to be applied topically, they are crushed and mixed with vinegar or sesame oil.
