腰奇 〔腰奇〕 yāo qí
Channel: Nonchannel point
Modern location: An acupoint located on the sacrum, 2 cùn above the tip of the coccyx on the midline.
Local anatomy: The 2nd and 3rd sacral arteries and veins. The dorsal rami of the 2nd and 3rd sacral nerves.
Modern indications: Epilepsy; headache; insomnia; constipation.
Needle stimulus: Needling: 1.5‒2.0 cùn upward intradermal needle. Moxa can be used.
Needle sensation: Localized aching extending upward.
