Modern location: An acupoint located on the lower back, inferior to the spinous process of the first lumbar vertebra.

Action: Fortifies the spleen and harmonizes the stomach; strengthens the lumbus and knees.
Modern indications: Diarrhea; abdominal pain;
Classical indications: Red and white dysentery in children; prolapse of the rectum; abdominal pain; nontransformation of grain and water (
Needle stimulus: Needling: 0.3‒0.5 cùn sideways and upward oblique insertion. Moxa: 3‒5 cones; pole 20‒30 min.
