KI-27 Transport Mansion
俞府 〔俞府〕shù fǔ
Alternate names: 输府 shū fǔ, Transport House
Channel: KI, Foot Lesser Yīn (shào yīn) Kidney Channel
Modern location: An acupoint located on the chest, in a small depression just inferior to the sternal head of the clavicle, 2 cùn lateral to the midline.
Classic location: Below the clavicle, in the depression two cùn from Jade Pivot (CV-21). (Zhēn Jiǔ Jiǎ Yǐ Jīng)
Local anatomy: The anterior perforating branches of the internal mammary artery and vein. The medial supraclavicular nerve.
Action: Diffuses the lung and downbears counterflow; calms panting and suppresses cough; fortifies the spleen and harmonizes the stomach.
Modern indications: Cough; panting; chest pain; retching and vomiting.
Classic indications: Abdominal distension; retching and vomiting; no pleasure in eating.
Needle stimulus: Needling: 0.3 cùn oblique or perpendicular insertion. Moxa: 3‒5 cones; pole 5‒20 min.
